Old Paper Mill

oil on canvas panel............ 7x9"
Other than the rank smell of paper pulp and heat of the searing, morning sun, this view was fun to paint. Will Wray was kind enough to share his discovery of this gritty, remote location.

Wonderful painting. Will Wray mentioned you had a blog now and to say hi. I've enjoyed your work, from afar, all year.

Thanks Rene,

I enjoyed browsing through your blog. Your paintings have a very atmospheric feel to them. Lovely brush work as well.

Thanks Tony!
The water tower is also my favorite element in the painting. I look forward to seeing what you've been up to lately.
