Wow... very nice sketches. I love the the gauzy feeling of them. They look like paintings to my eye!
Always great slashing energy in your sketches-- I just got some Russian soft Charcoal and some dry greasy sticks they call sauce. I'll have to drop in to class and try them out,

I generally approach my drawings in a 'painting' sense and just indicate major shapes with drawing.
(However, I still need to be aware of accuracy and proportion- that comes with time and mileage, I guess)
William, have you tried those Russian sticks yet?
Let me know how they fare since I'm always looking to try new mediums.
